Introducing One More Question- Kentucky journalism that goes deeper
If you've been a Shay Informed reader for any length of time, you already know the drill: I use this site to go deeper. To ask the questions others forget. To stay focused on a story that isn't done being told.
That's the inspiration for my new weekly podcast.
One More Question- with Shay McAlister is officially here, and it's exactly what it sounds like. Independent journalism that doesn't stop when the cameras turn off. The questions officials hope you'll forget. The stories that get buried under the next news cycle. The accountability reporting that takes time, sourcing, and a willingness to keep asking- even when the people in power would rather you didn't.
That's the mission. That's always been the mission. But now it has its own home, dropping every Monday morning, wherever you already listen to podcasts.
And yes- that part is new, and I'm so excited about it!
For a while, listening to my podcasts required a few extra steps that I know frustrated some of you. You asked for a better experience. I heard you. Now, a few one-time steps and every new episode shows up automatically in your library each Monday. No hunting, no remembering to check- just your weekly deep dive, ready when you are.
Here's how to add it to your library:

One More Question covers Kentucky- and occasionally southern Indiana- with the same approach that's driven my journalism for over a decade: honest, compassionate, and clear. No advertisers. No corporate pressure. No incentive to soften the edges.
Just the story. And then one more question.
New episodes drop Mondays.
