Brian Epperson is set to face a jury just two months from now on federal drug charges, linked to the deaths of two women. A federal judge has scheduled the trial for 8 a.m. on February 2nd, 2026.

The trial is expected to take 7 days. Epperson is facing two federal drug charges for knowingly and intentionally distributing methamphetamine that resulted in the overdose deaths of two victims- Reacheal Dawson and Kristen Morris.

"There's a lot of physical evidence, and there's a lot of electronic evidence. Sergeant Reed and the DEA Task Force officer, as well as some others in our staff, have had to comb through hundreds of 1000s of pictures and videos," Winchester Police Chief Travis Thompson said, "I think there's about 20 terabytes of electronic digital media that they've had to comb through."

Epperson faces 20 years to life in prison on each federal charge if convicted.

What we know about the victims

32-year-old Kristen Morris, 29-year-old Reacheal Dawson, 42-year-old Hilory Davis

According to Chief Thompson, the women named in the federal indictment were in a consensual, romantic relationship with Epperson.
