Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is making another move that could position him for a 2028 presidential run. Beshear has not officially announced he plans to run for president, but has put himself into the national spotlight more and more in recent months.

Now, his podcast, The Andy Beshear Podcast, has found a new home on SiriusXM with its 33 million subscribers. The episodes will be airing on SiriusXM Progress weekly.

"The Andy Beshear Podcast isn't a political podcast, it's a place for Americans to come together for honest, real conversations," Beshear wrote on social media Thursday, "The SiriusXM partnership is going to help us connect with more people so we can continue to show folks across our country that we've got a lot more in common than what divides us."

President Donald Trump’s appearances on podcasts were a major part of his winning media strategy, according to the Associated Press. Mastering podcasts has been suggested as the future of successful political campaigns.

Beshear appears to be embracing the opportunity for political conversations on a bigger stage. His debut episode will be an interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. It will be recorded in SiriusXM's New York City studios and premieres on September 10th on the SiriusXM app.

Andy Beshear Presents

Beshear will also be hosting a new series of live specials named "Andy Beshear Presents," which will also air on SiriusXM Progress. According to SiriusXM, the project will feature candid conversations about political issues shaping both Kentucky and the Nation. During these segments, he will be taking calls from listeners across the country.

The first Andy Beshear Presents will premiere on September 9th at 12 pm.
